Molasses Cookies

 Cream one cup of sugar and 3/4 cup butter. Beat in one egg until fluffy. Sift together 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Mix into creamed ingredients. Add 2 tbs molasses and mix well. Roll into small balls and flatten with bottom of glass greased and dipped in sugar (each time). Put on greased cookie sheet. 

Bake at 350 for about 10 min.

Makes about 6-7 dozen depending on the size of the ball.
