First layer:
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1 stick margarine or butter
Mix flour, nuts, margarine. Pack in a large, 9x13" dish. Cook for 20 min. at 250 degrees. Allow to cool.
Second layer:
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 packages instant vanilla pudding (made with 3 cups cool milk.)
1 carton Cool Whip
Beat together the cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Spread over 1st cooled layer. Mix milk with pudding. Fold in 1/2 carton Cool Whip and spread over the second layer. Third layer, spread the rest of the Cool Whip over the pudding. Grate 1 square of semi-sweet chocolate on the top. Cool several hours in the refrigerator. May be varied by using chocolate or butterscotch pudding mix.
