Collection 2 1940s
We meet Edna Lee as a young girl encountering desperate situations, then follow her into courtship and marriage and motherhood.
Collection 3 1960s to Early 2000s
The last generation of women in this series is Mary Anne, husband of 1, mother of 3. Short stories follow her from her childhood in the 60s, through early years of marriage, then the unexpected ending in 2014. Mary Anne's stories begin in Georgia and end in California.
